The folowing rules cover combat.
I suggest we put in these stats:
-Stamina
-Agility
-Bending AP
-Weapon AP
(We can combine both Bending and Weapon AP if needed)
-Defense
Definitions:
Stamina: How much HP one will have in their character.
Agility: Agility will have 2 stats: Crit Chance and Miss Chance. More agility better miss or crit chance.
Bending AP (Bending Attack Power): How much damage they will have for bending.
Weapon AP (Weapon Attack Power): How much damage they will have for weapons/fist.
Defense: The amount of defence points you have will determine how many points are subtracted from damage you take.
______________________________________________________
Each person will start out with 0 on all stats. And when they make their character they will have 75 stat points. We'll have checkpoints for the stats.
5 points in stamina will equal 100 bonus hitpoints.(one point equals 20 hp.)
5 points in agility will equal +1 crit chance and +1 miss chance
5 points in Weapon or Bending attack power will equal +50 damage assuming you hit. (This means 1 point equals 10 bonus damage)
5 points in Defence will equal 50 less damage to you when you are attacked. (This means 1 point means you take 10 points less damage)
Every character will have 10k health. As for damage, a die will be rolled.
1=100 damage
6= 600 damage
Crit=900.
Example with one of my characters to see on what it looks like.
Volke:
Stats
-Stamina: 18( Means my hp goes up by +380hp)
-Agility: 20 (Means Crit and miss chance goes up by +4)
-Bending AP: 0
-Weapon AP: 21 (Means he has +210AP)
-Defense: 15 (He has +150DP)
That means Volke has:
10,380hp
AP: 210
DP: 150
Total Stat points used: 75
Another Example
so Zrycc would be like this
Stamina + 15 (this means plus 300 hitpoints, and a total of 10,300)
Agility + 20 (this means +4 crit chance and +4 miss chance)
AP+ 20 (this means +200 weapon attack power. If i hit, 200 damage is added)
DP+ 20 (this means +200 defence. If an enemy hits me for 600, i take 200 less.)
Bending AP +0
Easy isn't?
CRIT/MISS CHANCE
one 6 sided die is rolled for damage, and one 12 sided is rolled for crit/miss. Assuming you have ZERO crit/miss chance, if the 12 sided die is below a 6, you miss. If it is a 12, you crit.
if you have ONE crit/miss chance bonus, a 5 or below must be rolled to miss and an 11 or 12 must be roled to crit and so on.
[glow=red,2,300][/glow][shadow=red,left,300][/shadow] THE ABOVE RULES ARE NOW NULL AND VOID![glow=red,2,300][/glow][shadow=red,left,300][/shadow]
combat will now work as so.
If a player attacks, the GM flips a coin. Heads hits, Tails misses. If it hits, the GM rolls a die. 1=100 damage, and 6=600 damage
Any questions so far?
Ok. Next is a short example of how the game will work(Still correct)
GM-Ok. You guys all wake up in a dark room. You see eachother but you dont know eachother. The last thing you remember is that you where walking through the Iguaruh Forest. What do you do?
Player 1- I say "Who are you?"
Player 2-I say "My name is Zrycc. I am not a bender but you will find i am just as lethal as one if you try anything tricky.
Player 3- I say "I am Guarn. Im an Earthbender.
Player 4 - "I am Akhnana. I am a waterbender and a healer.
GM- A man comes into the room. "Come with me" he says. In the next room you see a small group of people. Their age, size and gender vary, but you can tell that they are all buisness. "We need you help." says the man. "I am Vland. My group is planning something big. As i am sure you know, there is a peace between the nations. This peace is not stable. I have information that there is a group of Earthbenders, know as The Dai Li that are planning to, first, take over the Earth Nation, and then take over the other nations. As you know, the Earth Nation is one of the most formidable nations. They have strong fighters and large numbers. This is a very serious problem."
"We have been observing you for a few weeks. We need you to help us take care of The Dai Li. "
What do you do?
Player 1-"I'm in.
Player 2- "Me too."
Player 3- *looking at the ground, embarased and infuriated "I cant believe my nation would try to do something this horrible. Im in. LETS GET RID OF THESE DAI LI ********!
Player 4- "I'm also in."
Ok. That was an example of rolleplaying.
EXTRA RULES AND NOTES.
OOC= Out of Character. Use this when you are saying something to another user of the forums, not when your character is talking. use quotes when your character is talking, and use nothing when you are describing something your character is doing.
Hope this gives you an idea of Rping
