This story is more of a filler then anything...still hope you guys like it.....
The night air was cool and comfortable. The afternoon was particularly hot but the amount of trees made it bearable. Yue and I set up our camp underneath a big oak tree. “Oh man does that night air feel good. I can feel the breeze through my toes”. I said. Yue just chuckled. “What’s so funny”? I asked. “Well you only have one shoe on, that’s what’s so funny”. Yue said. I bent my head down as if I was looking at my feet. “Oh; I guess that’s why every time I was walking I felt so weird on one of my feet”. Yue started to laugh. I moved my head up and smiled. We sat around the fire and talked. Yue was telling me about her parent’s adventures with the avatar. “Wow! So the Fire Nation tried to take over the world huh? So Aang; this Air bender is really the last of them”? I asked. “Well according to my parents, Aang is the last Air bender”. Yue said. I nodded my head. “So if he was the last Air bender, then how will the new avatar learn to air bend? I questioned. “Well…I…I don’t know. I never really thought of that”. Yue said. I laid back down and put my arms behind my head. “Well when we meet him…or her, they will probably know what to do”. I said.
Morning broke. We packed up the camping gear. Yue took out her map so we could get our bearings on where we were. “Well according to the map, we should be near the docks which will take us to the Northern Water Tribe. From there we’ll meet up with my aunt, she’ll be able to help us find the avatar”. Yue said. I nodded my head. We got up and started to move. “So when we meet the avatar…do we need to offer them something”? I asked. “What do you mean”? Yue asked back. “I don’t know; something to eat or gold…I don’t want this person to Earth bend at me”. I said. “Well that won’t happen unless you say something stupid. If I were you, I would find some new clothes before we meet them because to be honest you look like a beggar”. Yue said. I bent my head down the back up and said “what’d you mean I look like a beggar”? “For one you have a piece of cloth over your eyes, you GI is torn, ripped, and dirty, and you only have one shoe on…not to mention you’re a bit dirty too”. Yue said disgustedly. “A bit dirty”!? I exclaimed. “Not a bit, really dirty”. Yue said.
After we discussed the news of my appearance, we ventured towards our destination. We continued walking down our path towards the docks. As we were walking we heard a faint sound in the distance. “That sounded like a bird”. Yue said. “Well what is it? Can you see something”? I asked. We waited in the middle of the road to see what the sound was. “Something is coming towards us”. Yue said. “Well if we’re not sure lets start making a move just incase it’s not friendly”. I said. “No wait…HAWKY”! Yue exclaimed. “Hawky…you have a pet hawk”? I asked. “Yeah…my dad got it for me when I was smaller…it was just like his…did you bring me a note hawky”? Yue said. I walked towards Yue and asked “what does it say”? Yue dropped her stuff. “Yue; hello what does the note say”? I asked. Yue read the note: “People of the Earth Kingdom beware. A murderer is loose. They are believed to very dangerous. No one has seen their face but be very cautious as they are disguised as and Earth Kingdom royal guard”.
