After the chilling news of a potential murderer loose somewhere in the Earth Kingdom, I was contemplating on what we should do. “ You think it was that weird guy back in the forest”? Yue asked. I stood silently. “Hello…anyone home in there”? Yue asked. “I’m just thinking right now”. I said to Yue. “What are you thinking about”? Yue questioned. It was a bit of a scary situation we were in. We are on our way to see some one of great power and wisdom but, there is some one of evil and conniving malice set out on a path of destruction. Yet, that wasn’t the main reason that was bothering me. It was the fact that we ran into him in the forest yet he let us live. Why? His horrible resume shows that he could have done a way with us. But, no. “Well Mr. No name, what should we do”? Yue asked. I thought carefully. “Well”? Said Yue. I turned my head in the direction of Yue. “I say we go back to the forest where we ran into the guy”. I said sternly. “You want to what”! Yue said loudly. “We should go back. We need to alert any authority of what you saw and let them know for next time”. I said. I couldn’t see Yue but had the feeling that this decision made her unsettled.
“So is it a plan”? I asked. Yue didn’t answer right away. “I see. Well I know that you have a job to do finding the avatar but some psycho is loose harming innocent people and I will do what I can to help”. I said. I felt around until I found a stick. I picked it up and started to walk in the opposite direction. “Wait…you don’t even know what he looks like”. Yue said. “It doesn’t matter, I’ll just give the information that you told me about him to who ever I see”. I said. I continued to walk back to the forest. “I’m coming with you”. Yue said. She grabbed my hand. I stopped and put my head down. “It…it could get dangerous you know that”. I said. “I know that but you’re blind…and a lousy fighter, so my help could come in handy”. Yue said jokingly. I turned my head back and smiled. “You can let go of my hand”. I said. Yue dropped my hand.
We walked back towards the forest on route to alert any official of the Earth Kingdom of the person we ran into. We continued back to the forest when Yue stopped suddenly. I got into a fighting stance and held my stick. “What; what is it? Is it him”? I asked. “No”. Yue said. I started to turn my head around, I guess to give the impression that I was able to see or sense my surroundings. “There is something different about the forest”. Yue said. I got out of my fighting stance. “What’d you mean different”? I asked. “There are two statues in the entrance to the forest. “Wasn’t that always there”? I asked. Just as I said that I felt the ground rumble right under my feet. Before I knew it I was in a stone cage. “Hey let us out of here, we did do anything”. Yue shouted. “State you business here”. A voice said. “Who’s there”? I asked. All of the sudden I could here Yue yelling, “Give me back my stuff you jerk”. “Yue what’s going on…who has your stuff”? I questioned. Yue stopped and said angrily “Dai Li agents”. “Dai Li agents? Are they Earth Kingdom officials”? I asked. “No there’re corrupt police; if you want to even call them that, who betray their nation and almost helped destroy the Earth Kingdom”. This journey kept getting stranger. I couldn’t believe what I heard from Yue. It was a bit surreal to hear that police of the Earth Kingdom would betray their nation.
“Let us out of here now”! Yue said angrily. “What are you two doing out here”? The agent asked. “None of your business, now give me back my stuff or else”! Yue said. “Or else what? What are you going to do”? The agent question. “Please sir, we have information on the murderer and was coming back from our journey to help in the investigation”. I said. “And…what sort of information would that be”? Another agent asked. I could tell because his voice sounded different. “We know what he looks like”. I said. No one responded this time, except Yue who was still yelling for her to be released. “Ok let’ em go. We’ll take them to the investigation site”. Said one of the agents. We were released from our stone cages. The Dai Li took us to the site. When we arrived one of the agents said “These two said that they have information on the appearance of the culprit”. Then we heard a voice say “I’m General Lo, one of the Generals’ to the Earth Kingdom army and leader of this investigation. What information do you have for me”? Yue explained to the general and everyone else on the appearance of the murderer. After a brief explanation the general said “Thank you. With this information we are one step closer to catching this crazed lunatic”. “No problem general”. I said. We turned around and walked back into the direction of the Northern Water Tribe in search of the avatar. “If you don’t mind me asking…where were you two heading”? The general asked us. “We were going camping”. Yue said. I nudged her. Yue punched my arm, which hurt. I rubbed my arm and said “No actually we were going to the docks to get a boat to the Northern Water Tribe”. Yue whispered at me and said, “Why are you telling them this. Didn’t you hear a word I said, those Dai Li are traitors and cannot be trusted”. I tilted my head towards Yue and said, “Well what ever they did to you forget about it”. “Not me but my parents” Yue said. “Well if you guys are on you way to the docks these agents can take you there in no time”. Said General Lo.
Yue wasn’t on board with the idea but after some convincing we found ourselves riding on a sliding rock double time towards the docks. “Can’t believe we’re doing this”. Yue said. “Lighten up Yue. At least we don’t have to walk”. I said. “I rather walk than be on a sliding rock with TRAITORS”. Yue said loudly. “Look not all Dai Li are traitors. Besides we are loyal to only the Earth King…no one else”. Said one of the agents. “I’ll see it when I believe it”. Yue said. “Well You’re here, docks towards the Northern Water Tribe. You two take care of yourselves”. Said one of the agents. We got off the rock and towards the dock master. Yue approached the man. “Hi…would you be able to take us to the Northern Water Tribe”? She asked. The man didn’t answer. I walked up. “Sorry…how much would it be for a trip to the Northern Water Tribe”? I asked. The man didn’t respond. All I could hear him do was move the water with a paddle. “Hello, how much would it cost”? Yue asked. Then the man responded. “Your money isn’t good here”. That voice. “Well what money do you accept then”? Yue asked. All of the sudden I could hear a chocking sound. “Yue”? I said. “No I don’t need you money but I will take your lives”. It couldn’t be. “Yue”! I yelled. “Funny how we keep running into each other. Oh and don’t worry, I’ll kill you and your little girl friend just like you wanted”.
