What if Katara was the Next Avatar

Ah, well, it's not like we should assume that everybody can live for a long time in ATLA, even though that DOES seem to be the case for some of the show's noteworthy individual's (ex: Pathik, Bumi, Kyoshi, Sozin, input whatever else etc.).
Take note though, that this long life pattern seems to be favored by our Earthbenders, being Bumi and Kyoshi, while Pathik just knows how to live a very healthy lifestyle.
HOWEVER, we still shouldn't come to a conclusion that everybody in ATLA has the privilege of being an old geezer. I wouldn't want to apply it to Aang's case as an assumption that he can live very old. We must take in the "randomosity of life" factor. My theory (or rather, an example) that Aang could live enough to surpass Katara's birthdate was stated just for that: A theory.
With regards to aging in ATLA.... Sounds like a new Theory Thread. ;D
