That's a tough one for Aang. I'm also a big Marvel fan! xD
Storm is a really powerful mutant. In terms of "ATLA powers," Storm can "lightning bend," "air bend," and utilise aspects of "water bending" to create rain, mist, snow, hail, etc.
I'm sure there's more to her powers with regards to weather, and she can generate powerful and deadly storms, hurricanes, generate tornadoes, blizzards, and other natural phenomenon.
We all know that Aang is proficient in bending the 4 elements and is already a master in Air while expertly using water and earth, and having above-average experience with fire. I see his advantages of having 4 elements and able to redirect lightning.
Aang also has access to his mastered and controlled Avatar State and can energy bend.
My opinion is Storm will have an upper hand unless Aang uses the Avatar State and energy bend Storm when she is down, although maybe energy bending won't apply to Storm unless those 2 are fighting under specific conditions.
For some reason, I can also see an Avatar State Aang also being on par with Storm when she is using her full mutant potential. After all, there are possibilities that an Avatar can cease to exist.

i agree with you mostly, storm is basically an avatar isn't she, i guess i would like to see them fight but i personally think that storm could battle a full developed avatar rather than just a (1)12 old one with as little battle experience does.. still aang could put up a fight in the avtar state, i agree with you on that for sure

I like Storm too, she's cool But in my opinion Aang is better  Because of the Sozin's Comet's fight, that was the best. Did you see what he did when he was in the Avatar state? Storm would never do that |

Well storm isn't a hands on fighter, now i don't read the comics, but in a cartoon i watched, if she losses controls of her emotions, her powers increase to whole new level compared to her usual self, that said, she doesn't have much control though, so..., i can't say since tv shows and movie tend to take a lot of creative control when it comes to comics and such

lol it's just like Tera's storys, firebender lose's control then bang...
But... i think their =.... why you might say!?!... well first of all.... Aang and Storm does have the same powers like each other, and also the avatar state.... when aangs lose's control his eyes go all white, with Storm.... she can control her state and make her eyes white as well.... im not gonna vote cuz it doesnt say both

Well now... IF that's the case, then an Aang with an uncontrolled Avatar State might lose the fight, whereas an Aang with a Mastered Avatar State could result in this fight being a draw or maybe Aang even winning. But let's not lose hope in Storm though, because Storm can pwn quite effectively as well. |

yeah i know what you mean... but she is quite slow in X-men 3 : The Last stand but she was mighty powerful

lol I prefer the Storm from the comics and cartoons. I think my fav version of Storm is her from X-Men Evolutions. She was 1337 crazy when Apocalypse took control of her.
