for teh same reason i posted my tell-friend-event thread, im posting this one
i personally don't really like the concept of having a chat on sites like this because it draws people away from teh forum.
that's why i think we should have a one day event where everyone has to post in stead of chatting.

I like that idea, 'coz yeah, I've always thought that the chat drives people away from the forums.
(and actually, I don';t have much choice in the matter, since chat doesn't work up where I am)
just my thoughts on the matter.

idk. its nice for when there is nobody on the forums and there are a bunch of people on the chat. its also nice just to be talking to poeple there while you post and whatnot. i think a no chat day would be prety cool but i dont think it should be perminate

the thing I always hated about the chat is it seems to bring out the inner douchebag in all who go there... and of course you get all those annoying n00bs and spammers, and weirdos from other sites to spam the hell out of it... I honestly don't like it, and thus my lack of access to it is something I haven't really cared about. if it were removed, I wouldn't even pretend to miss it.

i see what zuko4life is saying, people do sometimes lose intrest in the topic and don't post. And even though Tera is the life of the site *coughs*, he can't be here all the time. Lately whenever I log on or whatever, nobody's on here, so I post where I want and move on, but if I had a chat thing, I would probably go there first.
