the reason i started was because they told me that it would solve my problems....i am talking about weed not cigs......but i dident just made more problems....hey i was 14 i belived them now i quit weed but cigs....i am addicted to

If people know smoking is bad for you why do they start?
yingyang110 theres the problem.
people start because their friends tell them too and (no offense to anyone) there not smart enough to say no. im not sure why the people who get them to smoke are smoking tho

People smoke through influence. Once there was some wierd comic series that all the kids loved. in the comic a guy was never found without a cig in his mouth. that influenced kids to smoke later on. now heres a better example. if aang, zuko, and sakka all started smoking, you would do:
1. stop watching the show
2. start smoking to be like aang, zuko, or sakka

alot of it can depend on your social setting. like spookykim3 had a social setting that drove away from smoking. but there are some people who are in a setting where smoking isnt thought of as being that bad and maybe even seen as good.
