Yes. He did kiss her but after Katara realized what was going on she enjoyed it. Otherwise she would have tried to resist. BTW, if the show ends on a Zutara note, i am going to kill myself

Yes, he started but she kissed back, check my signature': You'll see. Yet she was still shocked and stunned and had the "What just happened?" look on her face when he flew away. She even looked away from him right after it happened, like she was embarrassed and didn't want to say anything about it. Like she didn't feel the same way but didn't want to hurt his feelings at the same time. "I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm really proud of you." That sounds more like what a mom would say than a lover/girlfriend/whatever you see them becoming. It's possible that I'm interpreting it wrong, anyone can read want they want into anything. But that goes both ways, a person could read too much into Katara's blush or that she closed her eyes during the kiss. The fact is, all our views are biased and we will see what we want in any scene whatsoever. I'm just stating a different view of the scene and do not mean to offend anyone or their opinion/preference. |

That really explains why Katara was so distracted that Sokka brought her back down to earth by just speaking. Katara also seemed to linger in the same expression of kissing even though Aang pulled his lips back, which signifies she enjoyed it. Before even starting the conversation They both were looking down and away from eachother which is a sign of shyness which both characters (Katara in particular) are not known for but this is a common syndrome of love. I do not mean Offense with my sarcastic comment at the begining, I'm trying to state my Point Of view but I'm not good at wording things. I'm not too sure about how some people can over read into some characteristic though as it can give the person more depth into what is happening.  [glow=red,2,300]Kataang owns[/glow] |

If katara was really embarassed with aang kissing her I WOULD (I dont know if Im right about this) think that there would be a tension between them but there wasnt. At the end of Day of black sun part 2, she even puts her arm around his shoulder to comfort him.
