and i'm one of those people who are in between. i used to be all kataang, but people like tenoko and sakuraangelina have made there arguments which are reasonable. right now i think katara is being a witch so she doesnt deserve aang or zuko.

Ok people we are debating Zutara and Katang not who's older. And if you can't stop your ridiculous fighting take it out side the thread 'cause you are hindering this debate.

Now I think it will be Katang because
1. Katara basically gave Zuko a death sentence if he hurts Aang.
2. Aang and Katara have already kissed.
And 3. The Katang shipping has been evident since the start of the show.

I believe that Katara is so hard-core against Zuko not because she's like "Ooooh you hurt me, I loved you for like two freakin' seconds in a cave!" but because she wants to protect (or, ahem, LOVE) Aang. Her reaction to him is not because she hates, or has repressed feelings for, Zuko, but because she loves Aang, or at the very least subconciously has very strong feelings for him, and wants to let Zuko know "I know you're a fickle little f**k, do NOT hurt him, or you're dead, BEEYOTCH!"

Also... I'm sorry, people, but WHERE IN THE WORLD DO YOU SEE ANY EVIDENCE FOR ZUTARA?!!! I mean, there's some slightly seductive undertones to their confrontations, yes, but there's a certain seductiveness to Azula's handling of Zuko, as well. (Totally reminds me of Cruel Intentions.)

Sorry, kids. I was a RonxHermione shipper, too, because it's CANON! Have your fun, make great art, but it just ain't gonna happen, children. You have my deepest sympathy (because I also shipped SnapexLupin XDDD I atleast conceded that that was NOT a plausible pairing).

I don't think of myself as a legend, or even great in any way. I just see that I have the ability to prove a point with intelligence. And seeing as I'm the more level-headed of the two of us I have a better chance of living longer. As for whether you're a child or not.... All I want to show is that Zutara is a possible pairing (and I can admit Kataang is even more likely) and I feel it's more realistic of a pairing than Kataang. But this is a kids show about a group of kids. I'm not talking about love. I'm just talking about relationships. I'm just trying to get Kataangers to accept that Zutara is possible, I know Kataang has more evidence and liklihood of happening; that doesn't stop me from supporting the Zutara possibility.

Ok I accept Zutara as a possibility, but I like to predict the show's future based on what is most likely to happen so I'm sticking to Katang.

I am guessing Zutara will be more possible if....
1. Aang messes up BIG time with Katara by pulling the same $*** he did in the cave (before the 'assumed' kiss)
2. Or if Aang keeps acting the way he is. AKA ignoring the fact that he and Katara kissed and by not having a serious talk to Katara about their relationship. In the past few episodes they have kinda been dancing around each other, and they are only seen talking when the others are around.

Basically I'm a pairing mutt because I will accept the posiblility (but not totally accept it/agree) of pretty much any ship that seems like it could happen even if the odds are against it.

And seriously Tenoko did you not read what I put above my Katang argues?!?! Here I'll repeat it: You are distracting from the debate, either stop your "who is older" fight, or take it somewhere else. [/color]

I'm a Kataang but I have read acouple of fan fiction about Zutara which I've found interesting so I know Zutara has a less chance of happening because Avatar is a real kids' show, but I do enjoy the fan fictions and ideas of romance between Zuko and Katara.

I just want people to stop bashing over a ship. I don't see any Katara feelings for Aang, so that's another reason Zutara may happen (I have my doubts though, but they're there ).

And As for what you put earlier I just wanted to bury it, that was my last word I needed to get off my chest. In my defense though, I did stray but steered it right back on subject, so please lay off.

I have to agree with Tenoko on this one.
Katara has until now not shown any reaction related to the Kiss.
I'd assume that she and Aang would talk about it shortly after it happened, and not let it rest until they're both 3 years older.
And also, Kataang seemed more likely indeed, especially after Katara's threat to Zuko, but right now it's as if both Kataang and Zutara have thesame chance of happening, seeing as Katara doesn't speak often to either of the boys.
