kataangers vs zutarians(debate)

Hey there everybody.

I've been going from Avatar fan site to avatar fan site. I've been keeping track of how many Kataangers i've seen and how many Zutarans i've seen. To be honest, for every Zutaran there is about 15 Kataangers, and the Kataangers win every 3 out of 5 arguments.

I think Zutara is just a fruitless dream. It ain't gonna happen. Plus, we should all know what happened in Western Air Temple between Katara and Zuko.

Zutara had been destoyed in mind and heart. All thats left is the body. Death to Zutarans!

Well that's not very nice. You shouldn't wish death upon us just cuz you don't like our ship of choice. I, personally, still belive Zutara has a chance and has not been destroyed in the minds and hearts of Zutarians. As for WAT, well I (as well as sakuraangelina) have made plenty of valid arguments that what happend in WAT does not mean the end of Zutara. Please try to be a bit more considerate and logical, rather than rude and spiteful when you discuss Zutara vs. Kataang. If you want people to take you seriously and listen to the point you have to make, then make a point, don't just bash.

I'm in full support for Kataang, its something that has been developing and growing stronger through out the chapters. Not that they liked eachother like that from the beginning, just that its highly unlikely that the relationship between both of them can be diminished by Zuko coming into the picture. The friendship between Aang and Katara has been a focal point since the beginning- its very strong and has obviously grown stronger at this point. I think Katara may be struggling with the concept a bit, but i think she essentially likes Aang to the degree he likes her.

Ooooh, I must agree. The Kataang friendship has been a focal point and has been growing into a stronger bond of friendship. I do not think Katara quite feels the same way for Aang as he does for her though.

No, no I don't ;D, and thank you.
I like some Kataangers as well, but alot of them tend to just be rude instead of respecting my Zutarian opinion. I can admit Kataang makes sense, but I still have hope in Zutara and think that it's a better (more romantic/ makes more sense to me) ship.
I admire Kataangers who are kind and get their arguments across and can accept my choice without bashing.

Okay, here, let me explain what I mean when I say logic:
SOMETHING THAT MAKES SENSE.
But it's alright, if you can't make a reasonable argument for Kataang there are plenty of people here who can, so just hush now and let the big kids talk, k?

guys i watched that episode and saw no moves that katara made what i saw was the i know what your going through attitude then she made a coment about his face had been the enemys then it got to the scar topic and she offered to heal it. she didn't hug him or realy touch him in any way that would say she was interested in him, but as soon as aang came into the cave katara hugged him.
and also there is this thing abou the fortune teller maybe that could be depicting the zutara relation ship. and then ya'al are sayng that aang is to young he dousn't know the difference between love and a crush. in their world aang isn't to young he is practacly an adult,

i do agree girls tend to go for the older boys because of the girls age faster but anytime katara went for an older guy he seemed to betray her in some way, maybe except haru but they never realy had anything anyway. she was just trying to show soka how she could get a date too.

your also saying that aang kissed katara and she didn't kiss back but she did loosen up and let it happen and she did beleive aang would return she even said that to him and the look on her face after was not i hate this kiss it was worry for what aang was about to do. even though she beleived he could do it she as you all said has a motherly attitude so she worrys

and about the motherly attitude thats all she knew as she was growing up..to take care of people so maybe that over protectiveness she shows aang is her way of showing she loves him.

remember the show only has 5 or 6 more episodes and to make up with katara zuko would realy have to work fast. and so far he's not doing such a good job with it katara is still pretty pissed off with him for betraying her.

i do agree that zutara at this point does sound like a more romantic couple. hope i didn't bash i am just using some logic.

HA! Big Kids? I'm probably older than you are punk! Therefore I have much more TV experience than u do! But true, i probably ddon't need to say anything bout the subject. When Kataang happens, thats the end of it.

The logic you have here does means something (unlike Judai and his loud mouth) and what info you've gathered sounds as if you're a Kataang, well I am too; and I still think that Zuko isnt trying to care or let alone love Katara, plainly because I havent seen any chemistry between them, even in that prison/cave (as you said).

But for a Zutara point of view of me, Zuko might actually care and love Katara because he's changed his attitude in life and turned good. But it'll take awhile seeing that Katara absolutely hates him For the time being.

Well that's both sides of me for Kataang and Zutara.
