girls that do not see younger boys romanticly but, as a tease
and do not wan,t what tey are against to happen on avatar
kataangers seem to be mostly boys
boys that already fel for an older girl and know what feels like
and it sucks it realy does
but they also know what aang is capeble of, they know what
he feels because they were there
aang doesn,t even love her anymore, she is everything to him
he cannot survive without her, she is the one person that keeps him
going, the one person to keep his hope alive.
aang,s litle body tressures alot of love
love that you can,t even imagine.
and zuko can never give katara that, not even if he fals for her
he wil never be able to do so
zuko and katara make a great couple
aang and katara make the best couple alive
right now it is in katara,s hands to choose for the right person
and i realy hope she makes the right choise

Actually, most of the Zutarians I know are split evenly among male/female, because they think that Zuko portrays a more masculine image and therefore deserves a more mature woman, as opposed to Aang, who is still just a kid and, because of the fact that men mature slower than women, is much too immature for Katara. Whereas us Kataangers believe that age is only a number, love has no age limit, etc. etc. It really all depends on your point of view on relationships as a whole. Those who are completely opposed to a more "feminine" man are Zutarians, not that I'm saying Aang is a fruit cup, but because he's not as "manly" as Zuko is. Notice the quotes around "feminine" and "manly", they mean it's not my point of view.
Another thing is that more dramatic, "angsty" fans prefer Zutara, because of the similarities to "Romeo and Juliet." That's one of the reasons I like Zutara. However, I'm still more Kataang, only because it's more plausible.
So I'm not changing my vote, just pointing some things out.

i'm a kataanger like kit kat katara said we think age is only a number. i've liked a younger boy before. only a mature one though. i love kataang because i want whats best for aang. how could you look at him and not just have your heart melt? he's adorable.

plus i like zuko so much that i'm not giving him up to katara

Dude...that was deep. Now I see why you're so adamant about the whole Kataang thing...age shouldn't matter...but maturity level does.

Aang has his mature moments, but he regresses to points where I can't see him ready for a relationship. So maybe in the future, but not at this stage. He's twelve and acts like it...which is a good thing because he has to grow up in every other way, that he shouldn't give up this fun loving side of himself.

Right now, at the stage Aang is at, Katara as the mother he never had, is the best for him. I once watched a film on Jewish boys who were freed out of the concentration camps, and how they had problems forming emotional attachments because they were so young. There was this one care taker, a very pretty lady who everyone of them had a crush on. She encouraged it, because it helped them learn to handle things in their situation. You're right, without Katara Aang would fall apart and his world would be doomed...so Katara should continue to love him as she seems to do now (she does not indicate that she's IN love with him though, but she does care for him deeply and would be devastated without him).

But now on the flip side of things, think of Katara's emotional needs. She's a mature individual. Aang's advances seems to confuse her, but perhaps he's not all she needs in a man. Maybe she needs someone like Zuko just as much as Aang needs someone like her.

So if she makes a decision (if any Zutara action happens or something and she has to choose between Aang and Zuko) the decision will really be sacrifice herself for Aang's benefit...or choose for herself, her own emotional needs...(If she chooses Zuko, she can still be there for Aang).

That might be an extreme case of course. We have yet to see how the future episodes will play out...perhaps the creators will just make a love triangle and never make her choose...perhaps they'll just automatically make Kataang because that's what everyone (even me a Zutarian, despite how much I'd prefer Zutara I still somewhat expect it : expect them to do...but who knows if they'll even officially put in Zutara?

It sure would be angsty if they did though

Sakuraangelina, you are by far one of my most favorite Zutarians. Even Kataangers have to agree with the fact that you make good points. GO ZUTARA!

Personally, for me the appeal for zutaria is that opposites attract (fire vs water) creating almost like a balance. They're like two sides of the same coin metaphorically speaking where her peace is the counterpoint of his violence yet both characters are extremely emotionally intense.

But.....I prefer Kataang because Aang is so cute. You'd feel really bad if was all lonely with the whole being the "avatar". The kid needs some happiness for crying out loud....and he's so lovable.

Gah....this is too hard.

I'm not saying that you agree. I'm just saying that she makes valid points that even Kataangs have to see them as such. I like the thought of them all just being friends. No romanticisms complicating things... that or Zutara ;D
