I think if toph said something before suki came back then they would be together.it is soooooooo sad.at least there was some tokka in the season finale.but there was not enough for tokka to REALLY happen

Yeah, Toph needed to say something bc Sokka's cluelessness was only fed my Toph's silence. If she'd said something to him in the early eps of Book 3 then I'm sure we would've had a lot more Tokka

how was Toph supposed to know what to say, let alone when and how to say it? she's still a little kid, AND, she was raised in complete seclusion thanks to her parents.
I don't think Toph had a terrible amount of social experience outside of Earth Rumble, and I'm pretty sure she wasn't hitting on guys--unless you count throwing rocks as "hitting" lol

What pisses me off is no one asked Mike and Bryan about it at the SDCC today. They all asked questions that we already knew the effin answers to. I hate noobs. Such a complete waste to the fan base and Mike and Bryan's time. *pulls hair out*

Toph was quiet because she is this super rough chick and wants everybody to see her as strong even though she's blind. She was probably embarrassed at the fact that she liked him and just didn't know what to say. She probably didn't want people to think she was going soft.
