I figured we could use one of these threads...
the bender battle one seems to be going pretty good, so I guess what I'm asking in this thread is that is there anyone else who wants to have a standard RP again, and if so, how should it be run, what should it be about, etc.

im not sure, and i do realy wish we could get a standard rp up again, but it just doesnt work. i think the closest to standard we will get is pm rps. speaking of wich, i may be ready to start that up again soon...

I'm fine with private RPGs, but what I think should happen is instead of PMs, there should be a thread like this one.I have the power to delete posts, so if any annoying n00bs show up asking to join when the front clearly says "for user1 and user 2 only" I can slap them out of the thread after a friendly "PM me if you want to join an RPG" message. the problem with PMs (at least for me) is that I get so bloody many that I often forget what's what. (I have 3,385 right now) with a thread, all I have to do is glance back at the last post and do that. besides, sometimes RPGs are fun to read later on in life, and threads do that much more effectively in my opinion. ~Azula~ |

oh.... lol.. i thought RP was like RPG after awhile when i was told but then RPG was like you know, like online games and that and RP like quest stuff like Dragon Arcade

RP-roleplay (synonimous to RPG)
MMO-masssive multiplayer online game
MMORPG-massive multiplayer online roleplaying game
the only dif between RPG and MMORPG is that MMORPG's are online.

that's what the point of this thread is...
to discuss other things besides bending battles.
granted, there's nothing wrong with bending battles, but maybe something else as well.

lol well, everytime i join a RPG it started out in a open somewhere and somebody ready to fight, why not in a bar and all sitting down drinking together until something intersting happens lol
