Where do you think airbenders get their energy from?
We know where firebender and waterbender get it from, but where does airbenders get it from?

probably there isn't an energy source like the moon or the sun. airbenders do get their energy from maybe there is nothing except for the air they are bending.

As far as power comes from i dont know but there is the possiblility that they get power during the season of fall. each element has their own season... summer for fire, winter is water, spring is earth, and fall is air. during the fall the most airbenders were born. but it is also possible that they are the most attuned with their element during the season of their element.

well its just that the more benders of that type are born during those seasons so i speculate that the bending is stronger as well... aka a source of power like the moon or the sun
Fire= summer
earth= spring
water = winter
air = fall

Maybe it comes from there great senses of humor and being unattachment to earthly attachments like the Air. Joking. In Episode 18 book 1, Aang mentioned that flying or gliding revolved around being high spirited and having spirit. In an interview, the creator once said that bending revolved around spirituality when asked about the 2 twins in episode 14 book 1 when one could earthbend and the other couldn't. It probably has something to do with that.

well air gets there powers from the air flowing through them, while earth has the rough motion of pounding, fire and water get there power from unfelt powers.

it must be oxygen, but also.. you know how waterbenders are more powerful during a full moon and stuff like that... something to with that could be a way of finding out what their source of energy is... like fire: sun water: moon earth: earth? air: ?

if i remember correctly they have said so far in the show that the nations got their powers by:
waterbenders watched the moon and learned to pull the tides as it does firebenders watched the sun and matched its flames earthbenders learned their powers by watching the badgermoles and eventually learned to mimic them and airbenders learned their powers by watching the flying bison and learning to mimic them, it is also where they get their tattoos from, they were mimicing the bisons marks
