The cycle continues

yeah, but realy she was trying to act like a fool(which she succeded in) she is trying to make mistakes. it's all part of the story speaking of which heres a little filler with azula.


--my mother--

She took long steps across the dark grass. She needed some ‘assistance’ from an old friend. She stepped into the junky apartment building. She had accumulated so much stuff it was almost unbearable for my mother.

“Ti lee?” she asked, although it wasn’t a question. She walked through the house until she met with the back porch.

“Hello Azula!” came a happy voice. She was standing on her pointer finger.

“Hello Ti lee” she said, “I need some assistance”

“Doing what?” she asked stupidly, and stood on her feet.

“Retrieving my daughter” she said simply.

“What did little ol’ Ozana do now?” she asked with slight humor.

“She became the Avatar, and was imprisoned, then ran away.” Azula finished.

“Poor Ozana” Ti Lee said, “That sort of reminds me of what Mai and Zuko did. Of course they ran away before being imprisoned. Do we know where they are?” Ti lee said in one breath. It was very hard to keep her on the same topic for very long. My mother ignored this last comment and went strait on with asking.

“So is that a yes?” she asked.

“YES!” Ti Lee said excitedly.

“Good, we leave tomorrow at dawn. Meet me in the front of the palace. My mother crept out of her house. It was just past sunset and her plan had worked. She would soon have what she wanted and nothing could get in the way now.

Soooooo, Zuko ran off with Mai, huh. Cool, I do ship Maiko!

And now Azula has Ty Lee with her, so our heroes had better look out!

nothing really happens in this one. fead anyway.


I woke up after a long sleep. Being on my best behavior was easier then I had expected. All I really need to do was think about something else and I was fine. Any way, I woke up at dawn just like on any other (regular) day. I walked a little away from camp to start to train on my fire bending. I tried to recall some of the forms I had seen my mother doing when she was training. None really came to mind, so I decided to practice on the forms I had been taught already. Everything was going great until about 5 minutes later Toph stomped up to me, she had a mad look on her face.

“I can handle Sokka waking up at 10 in the morning and complaining about breakfast. I can handle katara and her son waking up at 9 in the morning to start to prepare breakfast, heck, 18 years ago I could handle Aang waking up at dawn to practice Airbending. I CANOT HAND YOU WAKING UP AT DAWN TO PRACTICE FIRE BENDING.” she finished. Wow I had never really seen her face before this close.

“Sorry” I said, sounding embarrassed. “What do you want me to do?” I asked.

“Go 100 yards away from here and inherit your mother’s quiet feet, because apparently you got sokka’s” she said turning around and walking back to camp. I stepped further into the forest and practiced without interruption until about 2 hours later. I heard something in the under brush.

I walked over to the noise and found an angry hog-monkey. I shot at it. Breakfast. I picked it up and drug it back to camp.

“Good morning Ozana!” Aang greeted me.

“Hello” I said back. “ I brought some meat.” I added.

“meat?!” I heard Sokka say. He jumped up.

“Yes, I’ll start to cook it” I said starting a fire.

“Good, and don’t burn it this time!” he said, drooling at the meat.

“I’m back!” Katara yelled to us.

“Hey mom, how was your bath?” Aang asked. The ground began rumbling and Toph burst out of her Earth Tent.

“How hard is it to get any sleep around here?” she asked on the verge of yelling.

“Good morning To--” Aang started.

“Shut up” Toph said sitting down next to Sokka.

“When’s the food gonna be ready?” Sokka asked.

“I don’t know, I guess about 5 minutes” I said.

“What are you cooking?” Katara asked.

“Hog-monkey” I said.

“That won’t be done in 5 minutes.” she said.

“Well, how about I turn up the heat?” I asked.

“Then I suppose it could be ready in 15 minutes” she said.

“Just hurry up, I haven’t had meat in years.” he said.

“Alright, how about if I turn it up this high?” I asked making the flames huge.

“I wouldn’t do that. It could burn it.” she said back.

“Fifteen minutes it is then.” I said sticking the meat on a stick, earth bending two forks happed rocks out of the ground and putting the stick in between them.

“Don’t forget to turn it.” Katara said.

“Okay.” I said. “hey I have an idea! How about you cook it and I could watch so I don’t mess it up like last night.” I said.

“Okay” Katara said

“Just cook it!” sokka yelled.

“Cool it sokka” Katara said.

Thoughts were weighing on my mind as I watched what katara was doing. When was my mother going to show, what did she want, would I ever impress her? Why did fire seem foreign?

sorry for double posting but..

wow this story is taking off at a great start. you are really good at writing. i'm not as good.

i have writen two storys though. they are called Green flames, and tokka a story of love.

Please continue i would like to know what well happen.

glad ya'al think that about Toph, currently i feel the same way. anyway, i read about green fire on the enternet and thought that it was pretty cool that fire could be green so i had to incorperate it. sorry if i took you idea(however unintentional it mai have been) keep reading another part should come soon. in fact there may be one tonight, defanatly tomorrow morning.

It's a good thing I'm not like Toph--or worse, Sanaki--when I dont' get sleep.
I've been so tired lately with all this staying up till early hours posting Fight Club and what-not.
so yeah, just a thought.

hehe more coming up soon, i've hit a little snag so don't be surprised if the next couple ones are short. i'm pretty bad at writing middles and this is a middle, so yeah.


After the meat was cooked, we served Breakfast. Toph was pretty moody, I guess she didn’t get enough sleep last night, Sokka was hungry, as always, and Katara and Aang were cheery enough to make me puke. As always in the morning.

After breakfast we resolved to start moving. I made the suggestion of moving with Earth bending. As in we could make an open box that toph or I could bend. It would be faster then walking.

“Fine” Toph said, “But I’m the one that’s moving it.”

“We could take turns and after you are tiered I could switch with you.” she said there for a moment.

“Fine” she mumbled.

“Okay, so we’re going to need some food to take along.” I said, “and then we are going to need to pack up camp. Hold on I can take care of that” I said diminishing the fire. “okay now we need to find some food.” I said.

“Okay, let me find some meat” Toph said as she jumped off the rock she had been sitting on. She stomped her foot and a roast-duck came flying for us. I shot it with sime lightning in the heart as to not burn it and it died. “you shot at it didn’t you?” she asked.

“Yep, so let’s load it on and we can get go--” I was interrupted with the sound of thunder and falling rain. “Fudge!” I yelled.

“crap” Toph said disappointedly.

“Is this rain?” Aang asked.

“Yes, and it’s been so long since I’ve been in rain.” Katara answered.

“I wish it weren’t raining right now though.” Sokka said. “Oh well at least we have meat.” he said. It started to rain harder and the wind picked up. The roast duck rolled away, into the river. “The meat!” Sokka yelled.

“Ironic” Toph said as she Earth bended a tent for herself.

“Make some room for me!” Aang said.

“You know, this would be the perfect time to practice water bending!” Katara said to me.

“Yeah let’s do it.” I said getting excited….at least on the outside.

“Sokka are you going to come into the tent?” Toph asked.

He nodded, then walked over to her. Well I guess it’s time for me to learn Water bending. This ought to be fun.
