The cycle continues

alright, i'm still sorta new to this so here goes
all you really need to know for right now is that this happens 17 years after the rebelion lost(on the day of Black Sun) the Avatar is dead and Oazi is still ruling except he has the whole world in his grasp. And most of the story is in Ozana's Point of veiw(Guess whose Grandaughter that is)

Chapter 1

I woke up with the greatest feelings in the world, because tomorrow was my Birthday. i did the routine thing. Brush my teeth(Or rather have servants do it for me), brush my hair(Again the servants), and take a shower (that i could handle on my own), then i rushed out(after getting dressed of course) to the Plaza where my mother met me for Fire bending training.

"Hello mother," i said happily and jittering with excitment.

"Princess Ozana, stand still," she comanded, "how are you going to practice that way?" she asked then added, "you are moving more then Ty Lee does"

"i can't stop moving, MY SIXTEENTH bIRTHDAY IS TOMOROW" i blurted out for the world to here i looked over at a statue of Agni spewing fire from tha Hands and mouth.

"Regain you composiour, we are Part of the royal family and do not move like an excited toddler." she said back after turning my head to face her.

i imediatly stopped moving catching a menacing look in her eye's. i wasn't about to risk punishment from my mother. the last time i had done somthing out of turn i was sore for months.

--later after training--

"Good morning firelord Ozia" i said to my grandfather cheerfully. a smile came to his face.

"are you ready for your party tomorrow?" he asked.

"am i ever" i said excitedly back.

"i suppose you have finnished training for today?" he asked leaning against the wall.

"Yes firelord, would yoou like to see what new developements i have learned?" i asked eagerly. i wanted to please him.

"yes, meet me in the war room in an hour, you see i am attending a meeting." he said hurrying off.

"Okay see you" i yelled to him.

i had learned alot during practice and was ready to show him a new form. i fealt the braclet on my arm. he had given it to me for my 10th birthday(one of the many gifts of course) he said it was confenscated from none other then the runaway. He had gone further to explain to me that they had her imprisoned in the castle. i was leaping for joy when i had gotten it and now wore it all the time. it had become a nasty habit to touch it when i was thinking.

--After i had finished the forms--

"You are learning very fast princess" he said

"Thank you" i said back to him we were in the War room and he looked very pleased.

"You have exceded you mother by far........when she was in her twentys of course. That is all " he said letting my speaking ou of turn go. he was getting softer with age.

--The next day--

I was getting dressed in very fancy silk robes. i couldn't beleive this day had finaly come. Today i would be able to enter War councils and put my inut in, i would be able to banish people on my own, and most of all i could start to learn extreamly advanced firbending.(it was extremly hard for me to get this far and i often times enough spent whole days practicing without stopping)

i walked out onto the giant platform that so many others had walked onto before me. i saw all of my guests looking Back to me i opened my mouth in preperation to start my speach when an old Sage-looking guy made an anouncment.

"Here she stands the next avatar befor us. bow to her."

All eyes were now darting back and forth from him to me. their was much gasping(Including my own) and my father spoke up first

"imposible." he said, "the next avatar is suppost to be a water bender"

"All signs sow she is indeed the next avatar" said the Sage looking sheepishly down.

"oh no" i heard my mother whisper.

"This is a fine joke for my birthday," i said trying to settle me grandfather down and find a sence of humor, "and so now we can let this joke end and continue on with my speach." i sounded a little harsh at the end.

"i am afraid this is no joke." he studdered

"Why was i not informed at her Birth?" ozia yelled.

"Sir it is custm to anounce it when they are 16" he countered.

"very well then we cannot undo the past, lock her up in the palace dungeon. as for the sage kill him" he said then turned around

"WHAT" i yelled. "YOU CAN'T LOCK ME UP I AM PRINCESS OZANA OF THE FIRENATION. NAMED AFTER YOU AND EVEN LIVING IN YOUR HOUSE. WHY WOULD YOU LOCK ME UP?" i yelled at him

"Because even though roku was my grandfathers friend he betrayed him. and you have tryed to kill me in a past life. How do i know that the avatar will not turn on the royal family again?" he asked

"I am the royal family" i said exasperated.

"And so was my son Zuko but that did not stop him. Take her to the royal dungeon, and do not listen to her, she has no athority over you anymore. Come azula and tell me again who your husband was." he said leaving with azula following him. a couple men came frm behind me and pulled me away.

"Great" i thought, "Today sure is going to be fun"

you need to work on spelling but other then that i think it is fine. i like seperating the lines and pargraphs too, i think it makes the story more readable. i am going to wait to vote until it is over.

yea, i did like how u made your person for the fanfic, but y was the monk allowed in the fire nation to start with and y did just stand there as the avatar was taken away, was he from the FN?

yes i am going to continue it and i meant to say sage not monk, like on the episode when Aang is told about the comet. But since the firelord owns the whole world if he were to do anything then he would be killed.

Chapter 2

"YOU CANNOT DO THIS TO A PRINCESS YOUR SUPERIOR. ONCE I GET OUT OF HERE WITH MY GRANDFATHERS HELP OR NOT I WILL CRUSH YOU. I WILL NOT BE TREATED LIKE THIS. I. AM. ROYALTY. YOU WILL PUT ME DOWN THIS INSTANT." i yelled at them. and at my last request i was thrown into a steel cage that was suspended above a huge hole. they turned around and went out of a steel door. (like the one KAna was in)

"HEY, COME BACK HERE. ARE YOU AFRAID I WOULD BEAT YOU IN AN AGNI KAI? ARE YOU AFRAID OF A 16 YEAR OLD GIRL" i yelled loudly.

"they can't hear you." i heard a female voice say from acrose the room.

"Who are you talking to royalty like that?" i asked. i was ticked off.

"If you are royalty what are you doing in a cell?" the same voice asked sort of laughing.

"Because my grandfather is crazy." i said back.

"So ald ozia is still alive is he?" asked a cold quiet female voice. this voice was worse then my mothers whn she was angry. it was quiet venom. these voices seemed farmiliar to me somehow.

"Yes" i answeres trying not to sound scared. it was Pitch-Black so i couldn't see who anyone was. i lit a fire.

"Put that out." said a male voice.

"I will put it out when you tell me who....oh my agni!" i said looking around the small space we were in. "You all look so decrepit" i said surprised. there were two males and two females. one of the girls were in a wooden cage everyone else was in a cage that looked like my own.

"Gee, i hadn't noticed." the one in the wooden cage said.

"ohh sorry i just..." i took a deep breath, "I'm sorry, i think we may have gotten on the wrong foot" i said. "let's start over, i am Princess Ozana of the firenation......sorry" i said relizing my mistake, "i am Avatar Ozana Ex-Princess of the firenation." a tear fell from my eye as i finished explaining who i was. everyone had horrid looks on her face.

"Th-th-th-the Avatar?" the woman who had had a cold voice before studered.

"Yes th-that's why i was imprisoned." i said imitating her. i don't think she quite caught the sarcasm.

"No Way" said the man who had talked earlier he was about my Age but was very decrepit. the other older man looked shameful.

"Hold on just one second and i can get out of here." i said then i took a deep breath and heated my hands to where it was hurtung me. i put them on the bars. they elted imediatly and the cage leaned dangerously. i jumped out and started to run for the door.

"What about us?" the woman in the wooden cage yelled after me.

"Fine" i said seeing as the door was metal i needed someone to open it. and well she was in a wooden cage so she must be able to do it. i shot a precise fire ball at the cage. she just stood there. "Well come on!" i said.

"So-rry"she said getting up. she could barly stand.

"I could carry you." i said trying my hardest to keep patience.

"no no i have it" she said finaly standing up. she could barly walk.

"Watch the step" i said refering to the hole the cage was over.

"i need you to help me over it then i'll be fine on my own" she said.

"Do you need some light?" i asked her.

"No i'm fine" she said as i helped her jump over the hole.

"Can you bend?" i asked her.

"Well i havn't bent in a while but i'll try." she said

she went over to the cage where the other woman was. "Don't step any further or you will fall off." i said to her. "Just wait right there." i said losing patients.

"fine." she said.

"i'm going to get you all out" i said. i went to all of the cells and caried everyone out. this was going to be a long escape

the second part is sorta hard to understand in places. go a little slower and you'll make it a little beter. the plot line is pretty cool though.

Chapter 3

i had a small amount of time t think of what i was going to do.

"Okay so first we need to open that door, the--" i was cut off by the one who was locked in the wooden cage.

"Done she said hitting the floor" the floor crumpled and the door flew off. i staired in amazment.

"Wow" the younger boy and i said together.

"Huh" said some soldiers as they looked into the room.

"I WAS MAKING A PLAN NOT TELLING YOU TO DO IT." I yelled at her

"WELL I JUST BROKE US OUT, THE LEAST YOU COULD DO IS BE A LITTLE MORE THANKFUL." She yelled .

"JUST STAND BACK" i yelled jumping into the room with the other soldiers. there were at least 30 of them. Why would he put 30 men in one room? i thought. nevermind fous. i prayed to agni that i would get out of this. i shot lightning at 4 of the men at once. they flew back and hit others. The Earthbender who had bent the door in jumped in and bent the ground under everyone except me. Thank you agni.....and of course the mighty Meatal bender. wait where have i heard that before?

"Thank you" i said to her.

"Whatever" she said casualy back.

"Okay now that that is over could you please replace the floor?" i asked.

"no Problem" she said with a smile. she slammed her hands against the ground and the floor(lacking the soldiers) reassembled itself.

i walked over to them and asked, "now how many of you can walk?"

"Well i could try" said the other woman. she stood up and stumbled a couple steps. the older man could walk but the other guy couldn't.

"alright let's get out of here an on the way you can tell me who you are." i said. we were walking out. i was trying t recall what the map to this place looked like. if i was corect we were only a small ways away from getting out.

"My name is Toph an--" i cut the woman who could metal bend off by jumping for joy.

"you're the runaway, the blindbandit, the only metal bender. oh my agni i should have realized soner! You are the greatest earthbender on earth!" i wasn't sure why i was so excited about this.

"well yep, that about sums it up" she said.

"i'm Katara" the other woman said.

"i know who you are to, you are the Avatar's Bride...the previouse one that is, you partialy heeled the last avatar from my grandfather's infomouse green lightning...which wasn't so famous back then but, anyway. you must be sokka. you nearly killed my mother." i said to him "but you defanatly are not my uncle Zuko" i said to the other boy.

"Hey, what more did you hear about me?" he asked.

"Nothing really, except a small story which makes more snce now then it did then, but i'll tell you later. so where was i? oh yes who are you?" i asked the boy
