yeah, hehe i think i made her to much of a Mary Sue. i'm gonna have to give her a huge weakness soon to make up for it. and realy she's a waterbender....or suppose to be.

Ty Lee is a Mary Sue in Avatar Fight Club, and look how well that's doing!
but yeah, it's always good to give them a weakness.
On a side note, here are Sanaki's pros and cons:
PROS
knows everything about firebending (but only fire; no lightning or anything else)
absurdly fast attacks
can firebend in nearly any position
can sense even the most minute difference in heat
CONS
she's blind
small and weak
cannot use her heat sense in cold temperatures

I guess blindness doesn't count since she's got that sense.
Sanaki: HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU!?! my freakin' blindness is NOT... A... WEAKNESS!!!

but yeah. do whatever man. it's your story, and I like it.

Yeah, I think we all love this series.

Even though she was supposed to learn Waterbending first, she didn't, so Firebending is her base, it's what she starts from. Waterbending will be pretty hard, but who knows, some people have an affinity for their opposites.

Yeah.

Right now, her weakness would probably be a more powerful Earthbender, like Toph. Just looking at her style, you can see that an Earthbender might be able to gain an advantage.

We shall see what happens, and maybe find out why she was thrown into a cell filled with people who could, together, escape.

okay, sorry about the misunderstanding, my enternet was down and i thought they wouldn't be able to fix it for a while. well they have(i was writing from a friends house) and so now i will give you anpther installment.


The wind started to howl and blow harder as we headed down to the river. I was beginning to wish I hadn’t agreed on practicing because the rain hurt. I looked over to Katara. She looked perfectly happy, as if she had just gotten a new kitten. She seemed to low with the water, or maybe the water flowed with her.

She looked over to me and said, “Okay, the very least thing you need to know about water bending is that it is all about flow. Water is a very workable element. I moves into any shape you want it without hesitation.” she did a graceful move and water all of the sudden encased around her hand. “There are three main stated to water that you can get easily. One is liquid.” She rose her hand up so I could see it, the water although on her hand, still seemed to flow,” another is solid” she blew on her and the water froze. “lastly is gas but, I can’t really show you that one while it’s raining.” she said with a little embarrassment in her voice.

“That’s alright keep going with the basics.” I said, I just wanted to get the lesson over with.

“Okay, here is a simple move. All I want you to do is block the rain.” she said, putting her hand above her head in a long swish of a move. I tried the same thing and it worked automatically, it was a little surprising to me.

“Good” she said excitedly, “now try moving the water in the river to go in a wave toward you.” she swowed me another move and I copied her. Water bending was easy and fun. I was actually starting to enjoy myself. I had never done that with fire bending. It was all just about impressing someone, just getting better then someone else. I felt free with water bending.

She showed me more moves and I found that water bending was significantly easier then fire bending for me. I loved and enjoyed it. I suppose these people are worth more then I thought.



i know, pretty short. oh well it's late, i want to sleep, there will probably be more tomorrow, have fun reading.

She seems adept with waterbedning. perhaps that is because that should be her native element.

Yeah, and she seems more at home with water than with fire. Perhaps that will affect her choice if it comes to having to betray one side or the other...

wouldn't water be more hard for her though, since she is fire born, u have posted alot since i was gone, like how its turning out, keep it up

well she mentions many times how firebending was hard for her to learn and how she would spend whole days on the same thing just to get it down to a semidecent level. and she is supposed to be water, it's just that(lucky Azula) she's the avatar and since she lived in the firenation she learned fire first.
