no because the only places that it is cold enough and they have enough water would be the north and south polls!!! That's not very well thought through, is it? - The swamp tribe lives in a landscape where there's plenty of water and it's hot. - Living high in the mountains would provide a water tribe with plenty of snow, ice and clouds to bend. - Living on some archipel or group of islands would porvide a water tribe with plenty of water to bend, even if it'd be hot there.

If people lived on Neptune, would only air benders live in air temples?
No, they live wherever their tribe can strive and live as a community, sometimes it isn't about bending found in the people, it could be for comfort and happiness. If you were an earth Bender, would you live in death valley or a huge Jungle even though it is harder to get earth from under trees? Obvious choice would be Jungle. It isn't necessarily a set location in the world. There can be a water tribe anywhere with water and essentials and things to help a community.

nah, I think the only way there can be a water tribe is if they are at the polls!!! Why do you insist on that, when it's already proven wrong by the show irself??? The swamp tribe and Hama proved pretty well that water tribes and waterbenders can dwell pretty much anywhere. And besides the pole regions there are alot of other places in the ecosphere that would be perfect, because there'S plenty of water to bend (islands, high mountains and glaciers, the delta of a huge river, ... )

I think there are many other water tribes on islands or anywhere near water.

Or maybe the snow tribe.

Well, actually the two tribes at the pole regions are "snow tribes". Or are you referring to probable mountain/glacier tribes, specialized in bending clouds and precipitation?

I think there only are 3 water tribes. The north, south and swamp tribes.

since the other "water tribes's" location was not mentioned in the series it doesnt automatically mean that the probbability of one existing aside from the north, south pole and the swamp tribe is zero.
we should think outside the box. think about it. it was established that water can be drawn out from the air, since the atmosphere is a mixture of air and water and other particles. any waterbender, whether he/she has a major source of water, can practice waterbending. extractiion of water frm air or plants is definitely a HINT that other water tribes DO exist, but not mentioned because for the reason that they are not yet part of the storyline...

no because the only places that it is cold enough and they have enough water would be the north and south polls!!! wrong, in the tropics of the world, there would be plenty of water. it rains much of the time, and there's many rivers. also, they would probably learn to draw the water out of plants
