yeah time bending would be going outside the avatar universe...the show is solid enough with what it has without going all "science fiction" on everything...

It wouldn't be that unfair. If you want to get all technical about it. The bender will be very tired after bending the actual fabric of space and time.

It wouldn't be that unfair. If you want to get all technical about it. The bender will be very tired after bending the actual fabric of space and time. but would it really be that hard to time bend? couldnt you just change the rotation of earth? |

Changing the rotation of the earth wouldn't time bend it would change the rotation of the earth. We wouldn't start going back in 'time' because that is physicaly imposible in both reason and logic.

no i dont think so.. that wouldnt make sense.. and if there was timebending i think aang would of used it already to go back in time to redo the war with the fire lord.. and if there was everything in war that went wrong would just be repeated and redone to win.. DUH! Im totally agreeing with you... if this did happen... Aang would just end the war... save the Air Nomads... and Peace would be restored to the would... over and done with... Yurz ~Zukoforlfie~ |

Although I have to agree; time bending would being impossible in the Avatar universe... fire, earth, water, air, metal, lightning, blood... all things people can bend are physical elements or components of physical elements. Time is not tangible, so it would be impossible for anyone to bend. In my opinion at least. |

Hmm....I don't think airbenders would have such a power. If timebending could happen, only Avatars would have such a power, not based on any element, but based on spirit powers deriving from the spirit world and that whole "cosmic energy" mumbo jumbo. xD Exactly! I agree with them... Because time is not an element. It would be cool if Aang could control time, or something But it would have nothing to be with the elements, only something only the Avatar could do. Get it? |
