Does anyone think that time bending could happen on Avatar?
Personally I think that it could if you had the power of MULTIPLE avatars.

Hmm....I don't think airbenders would have such a power.
If timebending could happen, only Avatars would have such a power, not based on any element, but based on spirit powers deriving from the spirit world and that whole "cosmic energy" mumbo jumbo. xD

Yeah, that would be interesting to see Aang pull off some Timebending on any of his opponents:D

i think it woudl be cool but probably wouldnt happen. and like your average person couldnt do it. maybe someone from the spirit world could? theres gotta be a spirit of time in there...

Yeah, it would get kinda boring if Aang uses it in every fight he has. But, I would like to see Katara use some bloodbending in their second attack, even though she doesnt like it and thinks it's evil.

I have rethought this. Maybe it won't be time bending per se but a type of fortune telling. It could be used to see who will do what, what they have done, and what they are doing. But even if it can be used, it may be to powerful for any "one" being to use, even an Avatar. But what if an Avatar could do it with the help from four different benders and the four bending spirits or all of the previous Avatars in the cycle?

Well...I don't see that happening. Even though Aang has seen many things that can happen in the future. I dont think that Time Bending will be his Higher Element, although that is a really good thought and that would be cool but weird to see images of the future that Aang will try to prevent if they are serious visions.

But I dont think it should be a power for the Avatar. Neither do i! I only agreed with Metal-Bender 7's opinion, that IF there'd be such a power, it WOULD only belong to the avatar or some spirit perhaps. But i don't think there is such a thing as timebending in ATLA. |
