well i think that there will be a another arbender in the western air temple but it will be a women airbender since the western air temple is were the women airbenders lived

i think there are cuz some of the new episodes ar avatar the legend of aang. plus there nomads so not all the airbenders were at the temples. it would be impossible to kill all of the air benders if they were so scattered about.

Well it where airNOMADS,... I think they only went to the temples to learn airbending ant then leave to the rest of the world so I think there are more airbender then just aang(or maby there are airbenders and they just don't know)

I think that there are at least 50 air benders out there still we see one of them not even knowing it and she is Ty lee i belive ty Lee is an Air bender

Actually the tatoos are no avatar thing, they are not even a regular air-nomad thing. The markings are only given to those airbenders that reached mastership.

Not necessarily!
In literature and films with a rather sad content (and being "the last" of something is rather sad), it is a quite common thing to choose a title that fits the main part of the story just to contradict it at the very end in order to bring hope.

I also find it rather reasonable to assume that there are still other air-nomads, either in hiding or not knowing of their heritage. After all Aang's main task ist to bring ballance to the world and the elements. Even if he defies the fire nation, if there would still be no air-nomads, then there could be no real ballance, and Aang alone is hardly able to repopulate a whole nation, is he?

And by wiping Air Temples, Sozin only killed monks and children (yeah that bastard killed thousands of children but no right one))), but not actually the nation of Air Nomads itself
Part of them must be hiding, part of them probably forogot their roots
Remember that nomads(!) in episode 22, The Cave of Two Lovres?
I'm pretty sure their forefathers were Air Nomads. I mean their attitude, it has nothing to do with earth)

I think that there has to be more airbenders. a.) It leads to the addition of another possible book Book 4: Air

Also, like other people have said, they were nomads and therefore able to easily elude destruction. Plus, Aang is only the last airbender as far as the world knows it. There very well could be a bunch in hiding
