duh there are female airbenders! What do you think the eastern and western air temple were for? I know! To train the female airbenders!

Of course there were female benders, don't you people read or listen to the show, the temples were separated, men went to the northern and southern temples and women were at the western and eastern. A couple of times it even says so in the show. Gosh

We know that air benders are known for their spirituality, and sense of humor. but... all I've seen from them are male air benders. no other nation has a single sex bending rule... so is it that the air benders view females as inadequate for training when it comes to air bending? or is it that there is just no female air benders? this might have been said before but aang was to be sent to the temple for female benders and the last air nomad avatar ( before aang ) was a female as was kioshie |

I have seen female air benders, on a episode on avatar.
When we se Aang flew to learn to bend the the other elements, just befor he left.!

They were monks. Women would distract the young monks from there training. You sir, win this thread. But that aside, of course there were female airbenders. it's like the LOTR dwarf thing all over again (see 2 Towers) ~Zuko~ |

yeah you're right, I think both females and males airnomads would bend because there was a female airbender avatar, therefore all are trained airbenders
