there were female airbenders they were just at seperate air temples... the western air temple is where females practiced airbending

there was an air bender avatar and she was girl..... look the episode when are showed all the avatars, the last fire avatar was roku, the earth avatar was kyoshi, the water avatar, was a man, and ten last air avatar befire angg was a woman, in one chapter, shows all taht 4 avatar

true. just like everyone else has been saying for the past... uhhh... forever, Aang can't be the last airbender, because what WOULD happen to the avatar cycle. the purpose of defeating the fire lord would be cloe to pointless if in a while anyways, the avatar cycle would end. (oh yeah, and I don't want to go into the whole 'why they changed the title' bit again)

Well, I believe that Aang is in fact the last airbender. At the comic con, Bryan commented that some things can't be fixed. You have to deal with the consequences.
Whether that means that the air nomads are gone forever and that the avatar cycle will die off or that no more of the Air nomads Aang knew are left.. I don't know.
I just think that the only way the Airbenders will come back is if Aang has descendants with the ability

think that there are still some left over.I don't think that the firenation killed all airbenders.
