But, I think the point of this thread has been completed. There were Female Airbenders, in the Western and Eastern Air Temples.

Look in the third show of book one. Then look at the four past life's right behind Roku. Or Look for the three life's right past Roku in the first show of season two. |

I have question though. Why did they put only female benders in the Western Temple? The other 3 were pretty mixed. Oh and Yangchen was a girl.

i'm sure there ARE female airbenders, but we only saw any other airbender in a flashback, Aang's. And Aang was very close to Monk Gyatso, and other boys his age. Boys that age only want to hang around other boys. plus, in the last episode, Aang gets in touch with his spirit and talks to a female avatar, that was an airbender
