I was thinking: what is the sub-bending of air?
This are the sub-bending of all the elements:
the sub-bending of :
- fire is lightning
- earth is metal and sand
- water is ice and healing
- and air.....
just say what you think the sub-bending of air is

I think it might be how he can form clouds around appa,i meen that might be part of the water bending but it could be air.

wait u havnt added blood bending and also..fire air and water should be able to have something to do with bloodbending cus
air-we breath this in our body so aang should be able to bend it
fire-the heat in us but i dont think if thats right
and water wich you allready know is blood bending

i think blood is the only way to control a body, maby with air you could keep him from breathing or something...

i think it is to be able to fly at will like no other earth bender can bend metal very few water benders can heal and onley like 5 fire benders can bend litnig

Bending sound seems the most reasonable assumption to me! Tornados, hurricanes and the likes would really be nothing more than regular airbending on a massive scale, but no real subtypes.
