Wrong. To master somthing is to know all there is to know about it.

And just becasue you say she is a master dosen't mean she is. If only i'd say she is a master, you'd be absolutely right! But it's not me who declared her a master and portrayed her with the skill and power of a master, it's the show itself who did that. I only quote the facts from the show, not some irreproducible opinion of mine.

Wrong. To master somthing is to know all there is to know about it. According to that nonsense definition of a master, there would NEVER EVER be a master of anything at all, cause there IS always something to learn. Even if we'd stay in the Avatar universe this definition of yours would be unsupportable. For example: In order to become an airbending master one must invent some new technique. When Aang invented his scooter, according to your definition of a master every other airbending master who ever lived would have lost his/her title as a master, because they obviously didn't know that one could use airbending to produce a scooter. Get it? That would be ridiculous!!!

I stated facts to why she is not a master. Wrong, you stated your opinion based on your experience and some personal philosophy. FACT of the show is, what the show states ... nothing more, nothing less! If the show would show Iroh loosing a fight against Sokka for example, you'd be free to express your dislike for such a happening, but you coudn't declare it didn't happen just because you think it's not appropriate. The show declared Katara a master and showed her with fitting power and knowledge ever since. You can't declare it's not true just because you think it's not appropriate, and then call that "facts".

Azula is much better than katara!!!!! 1. That's not the question of the thread. 2. As we have seen in "The crossroads of destiny" your proclamation is not at all true. Azula might be a better fighter, but she is not a better bender, if you are able to get the difference. 3. I repeat: Katara has been declared a master by TWO other old masters AND she showed the appropriate level of skill and power ever since, so there shouldn't be much to discuss here after all.

hey, outlawking, if you liked characters, you wouldn't insult them in rathaer silly ways)
and Master simply means "tutor" in the show if you didn't get that... but even if it comes to skills she is very skilled bender, too...

she has the skills of a master bender all she needs to do is practice and practice i think she will exceed master pakku's power in the long run she is a quick learner and you could call her a semi-master bender
